Jelena Dokic to play Hobart as warmup to Australian Open

Jelena Dokic announced that she will play at the Hobart International as preparation for the 2010 Australian Open.

Dokic beat three seeded players on her way to the quarter-finals of this year’s Australian Open.

“She captured the hearts of all tennis fans at the Australian Open in January and hopefully she can continue her form in the main draw here and get her 2010 season off to a winning start,” Hobart tournament director Michael Roberts said in a statement.
