You partly live in Switzerland. What do you like most about our country?
It’s a beautiful country with many wonderful landscapes. I like the lakes in Zurich and the mountains in Lausanne especially – it’s fun to train in these areas. I also like the relaxed mood in the country and the people are very respectful of your privacy. For me, it’s the perfect place to live.

If you’re in Basel and have some time off. What are the things you like to do most?
I’m quite a homely person so I spend a lot of time at my apartment. My management company is in Basel too, so I meet my manager Dan Holzmann for dinner now and then. There are a couple of restaurants – Italian and Swiss – that I enjoy visiting, especially “Oliv”.

Kim Clijsters made her comeback a few months ago and also Justine Henin will return . What do you think about those comebacks? Is it good for women’s tennis that such successful players come back?
I think it’s great for women’s tennis, and exciting for me personally, because they are both great champions. I’ve never beaten either of them, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to test myself against both. I get on very well with Kim, so it will be fun to see her around the locker room now in the future.
