2010 ASB Classic: Pennetta in, Jankovic, Radwanska and Bartoli to play it too?

Flavia Pennetta has confirmed that she will play at the 2010 ASB Classic and tournament director Brenda Perry is hoping Jelena Jankovic, Agnieszka Radwanska and Marion Bartoli will be playing there as well.

“Until next Tuesday, anything and everything is possible and I’m going to keep trying,” Perry said.

Perry was delighted to sign up Pennetta, who has won eight singles and six doubles titles in her WTA career.

“She brings classiness and a bit of pizzazz. She’s entertaining and colourful, and she speaks her mind.” Perry added.

It will Pennetta’s first appearance in the Classic’s main draw, but not the first time she has played in Auckland.
