Maria Sharapova had the chance to spent the day with 2 fans who won an online charity auction during a Cole Haan photo shoot… The best part is that the winner wrote a little blog post talking about her day with Maria and it’s nice to see another side of Maria by a normal fan … Check it out… Ohh by the way…Sharapova looks so great and relax in the photo…

Hi,
I wanted to share with you an amazing experience that my sister Tanya and I had with Maria at her Cole Haan photo shoot. We flew into LA from Minnesota to spend the day with Maria at the shoot and it was well worth the trip. 

Here are few observations:
1. Maria works as hard off the court as she does on the court. It lasted well over eight hours. 
2. She is no DIVA. In fact she ate lunch sitting on a cooler because all of the chairs were taken.
3. She is extremely competitive, even if it’s just an impromptu game of badminton against her agent. 
4. Speaking of which, she is a pretty adept badminton player. Or it could have just been that her competition was sub par…sorry, Max.
5. Maria can crack eggs really well but as far as the rest of her baking skills…no comment.

6. She is taller in person but her tennis racket seems smaller. Weird but true.
7. Maria does not have a huge entourage following her but the people who do surround her are quality. 
8. It’s not just her name on the label…she is completely involved in the line.
9. Saw her outfit for the Australian Open. Looks great!
10. Didn’t see her on court game face…only smiles.
