Ana Ivanovic signs lifetime deal with adidas

Ana Ivanovic adidasAna Ivanovic signs lifetime deal with adidas

Ana Ivanovic signed a lifetime deal to stay with adidas clothing. The former number one player and former Roland Garros champion. is fighting to lift her game after a year-long slump, but as she remains one of the most beautiful tennis players on the Sony Ericsson Toour she is a hot asset for the sponsors and will wear adidas gear for as long as she stays in the sport.

Officials said that Ivanovic will become a brand ambassador for the company. This amazing deal make her the youngest athlete ever to sign an agreement of this length.

“I’m very proud to wear adidas for the rest of my career. adidas has helped me immensely over the last few years by providing me with great products and unique services off the court including the adidas Player Development Program. Therefore, this long-term contract extension means a lot to me and was a logical decision,” Ana commented. “I feel thrilled to be a member of the adidas family and I am very much looking forward to working with adidas on many projects in the future.”

“Ana Ivanovic’s spirit on and off the court is consistent with what women’s tennis stands for and is without any doubt a great ambassador for adidas. Ana has been part of our women’s training marketing activities from day one and we are delighted to continue our successful partnership in the future,” said Jocelyn Robiot, adidas’ VP Global Sports Marketing.

Corina Morarius new book: LIVING THROUGH THE RACKET: How I Survived Leukemia… and Rediscovered My Self

Corina Morariu´s new book: LIVING THROUGH THE RACKET: How I Survived Leukemia… and Rediscovered My Self

Retired tennis player, Corina Morariu has launched her new book called LIVING THROUGH THE RACKET: How I Survived Leukemia… and Rediscovered My Self.

In this book, Morariu talks aout her cancer survival, and how that illness saved her life.

Morariu was the number 1 tennis player in doubles before she was diagnosed with an advanced form of acute myelogenous leukemia in 2001. She underwent chemotherapy and made a full recovery and returned to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour in 2003.

“I will never forget seeing her for the first time in the hospital in Miami. Here was one of the healthiest, most athletic people I’ve ever met looking frail, thin, and ashen, battling for her life. It was emotionally very tough for me to see her like that. I can’t imagine what it must have been like for her. But, she came back. She didn’t just survive; she thrived.” said Lindsay Daveport.
